Sweet Toast with peanut butter

I used a gas sandwich maker to make this toast.This brings my memory back to the days when electric toasters were not common.

Serves : 1

1. I used a gas sandwich toaster to make this toast, but this can be made with any sandwich maker.

2. Spread 1/2 tbsp butter to one side of one slice of bread and 1/2 tbsp peanut butter to the other side.

3. Do the same thing to the other slice.

4. I placed the buttered side of the bread on one arm of the sandwich maker and  covered with other bread piece  buttered side facing up.

5. When you press both arms of the sandwich maker together, excess bread is cut off.

6. I held it on the gas flame for about two minutes on each side.


7. I got a perfect peanut butter toast.

Ingredients

2 slices bread

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp peanut butter

Method

I used a gas sandwich toaster to make this toast, but this can be made with any sandwich maker.

My gas sandwich maker is not non-stick. Therefore I spread butter to one side of the bread and peanut butter to the other side.

I placed the buttered side of the bread on one arm of the sandwich maker and covered with other piece buttered side facing up.

When you press both sides excess bread is cut off.

I got a perfect peanut butter toast. This is a perfect breakfast for children.
